If you have been around me for the last week or so you will know that I have been obnoxiously coughing everywhere, all the time. I even cough in my sleep...well, I do wake up so it isn't really sleeping anymore.
I finally broke down and went to the doctor yesterday and he told me that I probably had the flu last week (came down with it in New Jersey right after the meeting) and since I didn't take care of myself properly and get enough rest, recovery had complications. I developed a sinus infection. No big surprise there, I normally get them a couple of times a year. This one has knocked me on my butt though and I am actually taking the super cough medicine prescribed. Normally I just wing it on that part. I am also on antibiotics and am happy about the prospect of feeling normal again soon.
We did get the church project in New Jersey out today so that should help the stress level. I am suppose to go to the gym tomorrow and it will a couple of hours before I take the super cough syrup so Stacey will be sad to know he is missing out on loopy Jacene. He seems to get a kick out of me coming in a little off kilter sometimes. I apparently have better form on those days.
Anyway, if you have needed something from me over the past two weeks I have probably not been available to you. I hope to remedy this over the next couple of days or so. Sorry.
Oh, look for a good posting next week about the hike to Charit Creek that I am taking this weekend with like 20 other women (I know a few out of the bunch) there will be pictures and llamas. It should be a good post.
